New shop fronts & signage from 483 LL onwards

I've noticed the row of shops opposite The Grove are all receiving new shop fronts and signs from Indacos Flowers onwards.

Apparently they were told that they all had to "smarten up", now are they receiving any form of council or another form of funding for these improvements or privately?

Yep, there was a thread a little while back on this. Apparently, shops are being given funds to smarten up by the council (though I do not think this is compulsory). Its part of regeneration or something.

Here you go...I live nearby and think it's great there's a focus up this end of the Lane. A few different businesses moving in too.

Yes, council plan to encourage more shoppers. Florist, cake shop and food and wine have been done so far.
