Pebbles, you are amazing to have done so much. At that time of night a lot of people would simply have turned over in bed, grumbled about being woken up and gone back to sleep.

Good on you, and I hope you've had a private message to put your mind at rest now.

I'm also a very light sleeper and hear every noise during the night.

Did anybody see the BBC programme last night about the 4 or 5 people they've taken to study, who suffer with sleep problems? There was one woman who gets up in the middle of the night baking cakes etc. and then finally gets to sleep around 5am for a couple of hours.

Very interesting.

Didn't see this but might check it out on iplayer. Sounds like the woman you mention has two 'sleeps' which may actually be a more natural sleep pattern than the straight 8 hours.

Iv chased away many a shop thief from our local newsagents on East Dulwich Road. Every time i hear shouting i look out to see the poor shop keeper giving chase to the alcoholics who help themselves to his stock. I have managed to catch a grand total of 4 and still counting... I just see myself as your friendly neighborhood superhero!! Lets keep the thugs out of Dulwich!

    • What does the area with the blue dotted lines and the crossed out water drop mean? No water in this area? So many leaks in the area.
    • You can get a card at the till, though, to get the discount. You don't have to carry it with you (or load it onto your phone), you can just get a different card each time. Not sure what happens if they notice 🤣
    • Yes..that may be the case but membership STARTING at £115 a month is still unafforable for many. Council gyms also have a large range of equipment and I had a  PT at Dulwich leisure centre when I was in Full Time employment who was incredible and even kept in contact during lockdown giving me a program I could do at home and checking in weekly at no charge or personal gain for herself. I dont doubt that Fit For may be a good gym (Its been in situ long enough so must be doing something right) However the cost of membership means it is affordable for the few not the many. If I could afford that kind of fee I would rather get a train to Canary Wharf and go to Virgin active where theres a pool and incredible classes and facilities
