New out of town shop on East Dulwich Road

Any idea what this new shop will be? There's a lot of clearing out going on at the moment.

Out of town was suggesting that a new retail unit risks taking business away from Lordship Lane to the detriment of Lordship Lane and the residents nearby to the new unit.

No, my only involvement was to support a planning application for a nursery. I had no part in creating or encouraging it but formally support it and the appeal - which we won.

There is work in progress as dds29 says. It really is an ugly building at present. As others have said, whatever it becomes next has to be an improvement.

Surely we don't need another pit stop Tesco or Sainsbury's it would be great to have a Waitrose or even an M&S food store. Does anyone know what it is going to be?
