Borough Market with baby?

I'm hoping to go Borough Market with my 8 week old baby tomorrow (in a sling of course), but I'm a bit worried about finding somewhere to change + feed him. I usually stick to places where I can rely on baby-friendly facilities. Any suggestions? Thanks x

Hi I work there and can recommend the baby changing facilities in 'le pain quotidian' on Stoney st ( just on edge of market) or starbucks or amano on clink st ( good sofas for a feed too) . Enjoy!

I think in SOuthwark Cathedral cryot/ cafe there is a nice place too.

Guy's Hospital and McDonalds if you get really stuck (for changing rather than feeding!)

Kings College London cafe - just across Borough High st & down the nearest alley way - has lovely large & low pouffe type seats, great for changing babies on. Plus, it's a beautiful bit of old London thats hidden away & rarely gets seen.

Gidget, if you're really interested in a full & detailed explanation of the layout of the cafe to decide whether or not it's an appropriate place to change a baby then please feel free to PM me. Whether or not I would chose to change a baby in that or any cafe is a bit off topic to discuss here and so not really fair to the OP or relevant to her request.

Suffice to say; if I didn't think it was an appropriate place I wouldn't have recommended it.

Thanks for all the suggestions - I fed + changed him in Clink Street Starbucks, then later in the Old Thameside Inn. Much easier than I'd first imagined x

You are lucky. I have seen it done on a table, a chair, and on the floor. It's not an urban myth.

I am also going to take my little 12weeks old boy to the Borough Market, this Saturday! Would taking him in a pram be silly idea?

I know it's overcrowded on Saturdays but it seems to me that my little one will be more comfortable in a buggy than in a baby carrier...
