beansprout
Hi,Tried booking on line with no joy and the lady told me that you either have to call or show up.I managed to get one of the few remaining appointments but she did advise to ?get in there quick as there is a large take up?.Sure most of you knew that anyhow! ed_pete
.. And if your over 50 then the Government are handing them out for free this year. Irony is, I expect Flu cases will be massively down this winter due the behaviours most are following due to Covid. Pugwash
WE had our flu jabs several weeks ago at our GP surgery. I have had these done at the surgery for the past 10 years. They advertise dates/days on t he surgery doors and you just make an appointment. I think it was end of October we had ours. OutOfFocus
I had a jab a couple of months ago at the GP - I have specific reasons to have one. But they seemed people under 65 without other conditions.I note ed_pete's irony, but I was more keen than usual to get a jab. Wanting to protect myself from anything that might be confused with C19 (admittedly not 100% medically thought through!) Nigello
Everyone 50 and above is entitled to one this year, free of charge. Try Sogim just down from M and S and Superdrug in Camberwell. I have to say that Lloyds on NCR was pretty rubbish - not cancelling appointments twice when they knew they had no vaccine in stock in my case so I went to Boots in the end for one of them.
