One guess at the rapid rise in cases is due to the number of folks queuing inside Post Office during the last 2 to 3 weeks. One I saw had a line inside that was not suitably spaced and understandable given it was raining steadily outside. Hanging around in a confined and congested space like that was highly risky. As for licking the stamps!!!

Irrespective of the weather, internal queuing was banned and the line operated on a one-in, one-out basis.

There are only 6 people at a time allowed in the main post office on Lordship Lane so that?s good & I don?t think they have stamps that you lick anymore as far as I know they are ones that you peel and stick. Having said that I popped into Farmers for some kitchen roll the shop was empty but all of a sudden there were people all around & I could hardly move , it was quite scary they don?t seem to control how many people enter the shop:(

    • The OP might have found the ‘Creative Trump’ protests entertaining but I found them very disrespectful to our late and great Queen Elizabeth who was interred at Windsor Castle 3 years ago.  They would have had more impact on projecting the images at Chequers today.
