Just like to give a recommendation for Mark at the London Log Company.

I found him from this forum and have taken delivery of my first bag of logs and kindle this evening. I 'inherited' a wood burning stove when I moved in, so after getting the chimney swept this morning I was keen to try it out. But as a novice I couldn't seem to get the thing to stay alight. (I already had a couple of pieces of wood before Mark came) Mark very kindly showed me his technique from the way he rolls the newspaper to keep air in it to stacking the kindle and positioning of the logs and even where to set light to the paper and hey presto it works! So nice to find someone who goes above and beyond for the customer and I would thoroughly recommend him.

I am enjoying my second lot of logs from Mark for my woodburner. My ash delivery also includes some other types of wood briliant for getting the fire off good and hot.

I get my logs and coal from Mark too. We have just had a fire installed and he very kindly spent time with me showing me how to prepare and start a fire. A lovely guy and very reasonable wood and coal.

Mark is something of a pyroguru: terrific service, delivered within 24 hours and showed me his now surely patentable technique for getting our woodburner easily 5 times hotter than we'd ever got it before.
