lozzyloz
What's a Mickey Mouse country? I can only think of France outside of the USofA. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2744-eurovision/page/2/#findComment-83881 Share on other sites
atila the gooner
Eurovision? Always was and always will be a complete and utter waste of time and space. Pile of shite and no mistake, marginally less irritating than reality shows and x-factor type "talent" shows (why they call them talent shows is beyond me, most of the clowns on these shows are completely devoid of any). *Bob*
You're right, Atila. I'd better not watch it - lest I crack a smile. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2744-eurovision/page/2/#findComment-84073 Share on other sites
mightyroar
Have you seen our entry?sung by Michelle Gayle, who was a pop star once and in eastenders or something. It's quite bad. In a sub spice girls way. Perhaps with the old wine goggles on it might be OK. RosieH
Is anyone else planning to celebrate this spectacle of high camp with a Eurovision party or is it just me?I need advice on Eastern European treats (I like to have representative food and drink from every country in the competition but am at a loss for ukraine for instance)am I actually the world's biggest loser? LuvPeckham
SOB SOB :( they have postponed this week's Doctor Who for the entries you have shown There is no justice in this world anymore.... and what has happened to all the Bees? *Bob*
Me, obviously.Though I feel selecting 'Andy the bin man' was a poor move. He's like Lighthouse Family but without the rock-and-roll wow factor. And his song is akin to drinking lukewarm tea at Gatwick after your flight's been delayed. We should have gone with Simona Wotsit. She would have been in with a half-decent chance. Bellenden Belle
> am I actually the world's biggest loser? Not at all RosieH - this is the first year in a long time I have not hosted a Eurovision party.... usually ours included a shrine to Terry Wogan and terrible drinking games where everyone gets a country to represent and top marks would mean downing a drink ... the result being some terrible drunken memories ....Great fun though! RosieH
BB that's a brilliant idea on the drinks front - thanks - will implement with gusto hurrah for El Tel and the singing turkey Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2744-eurovision/page/2/#findComment-104060 Share on other sites
Asset
Hmmm, I used to quite like Terry Wogan until I read his autobiography and thought he came across as a self-satisfied, grandiose twat. Shame. SeanMacGabhann
Ach I missed this - presumably Dustin will turn up on youtubeShame he was rubbish - I love his "work" but I couldn't imagine it translates to a Eurovision effort. Although the whole things sounds too outlandish even for an episode of Fr Ted Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/2744-eurovision/page/2/#findComment-104150 Share on other sites
