I have bought some apps for my kids kindle fires for xmas. I can only download some of the apps on each one. I can't download all of them on to both. When I try, out of desperation, to repurchase with each device I'm told I can't because I've already bought it so it'll be in my library. I go to my library and it's not there.

Please help before I set fire to both the feckin things and buy a wooden top for each of my children. I am about to cry. Or break something.

Grrrrrr!!

dont have kindle fire but is it android based believe it is installation on androids is bit flaky sometime. can you download to a memory card if you can just download to card then duplicate install from card transfer card to other device then install always worth keeping a copy of apt file so you can easily reinstall.

I agonised between a KF, Chrome book and various tablets. I always go to the one star reviews on Amazon that put me off buying any new technology! Check it out on KF and there is an excellent one star review warts and all, but essentially tells you it is spoiled by the rubish restrictive software, and how to wipe it and load up better stuff (after which the reviewer thinks it is improved no end). Suggest all KF owners check this out and improve their gizmo.

And searching for the review I of course cannot find it (1, 2 or 3 star reviews)

    • I am trying to find out about people's experiences of the 4+ and 7+ assessments. I am a teacher and have a wealth of experience tutoring for theses assessments (including my own son), but it's always good to keep on top of things as they always make tweaks to them. TIA!
    • "You have no idea why"   To be fair Sue, it's blindingly obvious to anyone who has a conversation with anyone who isn't a Corbyn supporter. And even some who liked Corbyn (like me initially) found him somewhat flaky even at his most popular But let's say you are right and I have NO idea why anybody might not vote for him. They still didn't vote for him. He lost two elections. The second one badly (and strongly predicted but the stubborn old goat wouldn't budge so we we were stuck with Johnson and another 3 million PMs in the 5 years that followed) So even with ZERO evidence, we have our eyes and ears and brains But we do have evidence   https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/27022-their-own-words-why-voters-abandoned-labour
    • As I said, it was my understanding. I worded it very carefully. I didn't/don't know for sure, so clearly not a fact. And hardly an "opinion", which is something completely different. You have no idea what reason anybody might have had for not voting for him (unless you can point to some opinion poll results which actually asked people?)
