What is it about Gail's?

Can someone please explain to me why Gail's is so popular ? It regularly has queues whilst Romeo Jones does not. Personally I try to stick to Independent shops as much as possible, but I understand if pricing is an issue but their prices seem comparable or more expensive. So the question is what do you buy at Gail's that warrants you standing in a queue in the cold?

I have also wondered about Gail and why so busy. The little independent cafe over the road is just great. I think people love standing in a queue these days! The thing to do in Dulwich Village!

It?s because of where it is. People love being seen in Dulwich Village, it makes them feel properly middle class

To add, there is nothing wrong with this behaviour, it just gives normal thinking / behaving people something to smile about, this middle class behaviour its all just nonsense.
