Recommended Posts

Hello,

I would like to recommend my friend Mark, who helped me to paint my flat last week. He takes his time as he pays attention to every detail, he is extremely thorough, and the job was finished to a very high standard. He is also reasonably priced.

If needed, he is happy to help with other handy work such as the below or simple gardening.

Painting & decorating Painting ? Installing / replacing skirting ? Small plaster repairs

Carpentry / Fixing Furniture & flat pack assembly ? Fitting blinds / curtain poles / shelves ? Hanging pictures and mirrors.

? Fit door handles / Lock replacement

Plumbing Resealing Showers, Sinks, Baths, etc ? Fit new tap cartridges and washers ? Install washing machines / dishwashers.

? Replacing toilet flush ? Unblocking sinks toilets and drains

Electrical TV Mounting Flatscreens ? Audio/Video set ups ? Replace plug sockets ? Replace light or dimmer switches ? Change light fittings & bulbs.

He is new to ED, but if you need any of the above please call him on 078 1560 4523.

Best wishes

Kat

Just wanted to confirm we had a very positive experience and would highly recommend Mark. When texted he was responsive.

We needed some Ikea shelves constructed and secured to the wall (very important for us we have two children etc.) He was on time, clean, tidy and helpful with the placement of the shelves and all for a very reasonable price.

Overall very happy

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!
    • Hi  I really thought I'd seen a more recent post on the forum about home education meet ups. I can't find it though. • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
