Singer/band wanted for upcoming wedding

Hello all. I'm looking for musicians to perform at a wedding on 8th July in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.

I need a singer to provide entertainment between 12.30 and 2.30(ish) at a drinks reception in an outdoor courtyard. And then separately, I'm looking for a band who can play inside during the evening reception from 7.30 onwards.

If you are able to help, or know anyone who might be able to, please let me know.

Kind regards,

Julie

I know lots of amateur bands and singers. But not sure if you want a punk ska band. You need to give a hint both of the type of music (eg cheesy covers as many weddings) and your budget. Money can buy you anything. But if you want something cheap and grungy I may be able to help.
maybe contact the people at the Ivy House I know they've had bands in who do things like live band karaoke so must have a good range. I would think though you'd be best getting a band local to there? the costs for transport etc on top would bump up the price

Hi Julie,

I've recently made a post for my function band 'Blue Flame', check it out below. We'd be very happy to play at your wedding / event. Drop me a PM or an email at [email protected] if you're still looking for a band.

    • I've just checked my NHS record online.  Gruelling process, but eventually found last week's immunisation records under Acute (short-term) medicines, after having looked at my Immunisations section and been told that the information was not there but was available from my GP's record.  Anyway, my Covid vaccination at Day Lewis TJHC pharmacy last week was a Pfizer one. Krystal give me a little card with the vaccination details on it, and don't require any preliminary form-filling either.  DL provided no record.
    • I read that years ago, but I can't remember anything about it (but then I forget books as soon as I've finished them).
    • Poor cat. Also poor people. I imagine it was incredibly frightening for everyone involved, quite apart from any damage to their homes. And so soon after the massive  fire in Penge. I hope the cat is found and everyone affected in any way by the fire will get all the help they need.
    • Yes, I'm hoping for Pfizer, which I think I'm ok with. But to be on the safe side I've made an appointment for when I haven't got anything else planned  for a week afterwards. Last time I had to stand up for most of an evening and put on a happy face while feeling really grim (was in bed for the rest of the week).
