bread of life cafe

just wanted to give a shout for the bread of life cafe at the bottom (top?) Of Barry road. It's utterly unpretentious, serves decent enough coffee., has a welcoming play area for little ones and the staff are very accommodating. It never seems to be that busy though and I often wonder if folk know it's there....

I also love this place! I think the church attached also has a couple of baby singalong groups in the week too.

The Bread of Life is generally busy especially at lunch times, there are various activities for children at the Church, the ladies in the cafe can give you an idea what goes on. There is also the Fair Trade Centre which is open daily from 10 - 4 and Saturdays 10 - 1. No cafe on saturdays but the Fair Trade volunteers do cups of tea, coffee, hot chocolate for 50 p
