I just wanted to share the love that is Mothers Inc on Forest Hill Road! My other half discovered it and booked me in for a facial....on a school day! First though was who will look after my 3 year old? but savvy Dad booked this place as they provide free child care with a registered child minder - bonus!

Anyway, the facial was lovely, the manager Ehi was / is very friendly and the 45 mins sans little'un was bliss! They are just starting out, (opened before Christmas I think) and are offering facials, massages etc and are aiming to expand to do manicures and pedicures.

Here's the website if anyone fancies a nose http://www.mothersinc.co.uk/ - genius idea! They also do treatments for men.

The end!

Hi Bellenden Belle

I'm not a first time poster! My email account got blocked c/o a hacker and had to set up a new hotmail account...so I couldn't reset my forum password; hence a new Forum account too! I was Trineann previously. My postings are generally about my baking business 'Nice Buns', giving away baby and kids odds and sods, furniture and Anorak sample sales....I've also recommended an Architect and a Carpenter and a new cafe!

So yes, cynic however understandable without the facts!

That is all!

K

Thank you Trine Adams and Nikkikf, that is very kind of you.

Bellenden Belle, we would never be so brave to try and recommended ourselves by creating a new account! That would just be wrong on so many levels.

Heber2012 feel free to pop in anytime, we are opened Wednesday through to Sunday x

I see that you do facials and massages. Do you do manicures & pedicures as well? If not can someone recommend me a good place to get a decent manicure done? I always come home with slightly bleeding fingernails at this place I go to and am not happy with their level of work. Any good suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Sounds great! I highly recommend Mothers Inc - I had a special offer with facial, massage and food & drink a few months ago and it was SUCH a treat :) Staff are lovely, nice relaxing massage room, reasonable prices, what more could you want?! No sales pitch either like you sometimes get in ED salons.

Hi. I am going to a special occasion on 26 October and I'm looking for help with make-up - a trial and then the real thin on 26 October AM. I am a very old Mummy (20 yrs and 16yrs). I have been ill for sometime and I really need a boost for the occasion. If you can help, please let me know. Thanks Karen

Hello Karen,

Very sorry to hear that you have been ill. We would be more than happy to book you in for a trial and then the morning of the 26th. I will send you a PM with dates to see when is best for you to do the trial. We will be happy to throw in a complimentary holistic facial to help in that well deserved boost. We look forward to meeting you soon.

Many thanks

    • he's not on the general radar - not with the Labour tax scandal and the new Tories wanting to buddy up with Starmer (on their terms). if anything, he's a irrelevant distraction from some real alarms
    • Let me rephrase this He does not seem to be personally bothered by the impact he has.  Rather than immune from somebody taking action against him.  Although the bar had to be raised and raised before anyone did anything, and there are still those in his party who think it was wrong to get rid of him. He delivered a poor Brexit so didn't get that right.  He didn't believe in it, in the first place, he was just getting one up on his chum Dave.
    • 1. No he's not, he made a pigs ear of things, his leadership was poor and his behaviour was unbecoming of the highest office in the land.  2. No they don't,  he was a prime buffoon 3. Not a messiah, in no way. He caused great damage to both the Party and Country after three years of differing by May. The only thing he completed was B  r  e  x  i  t.  Are we paying the price. Don't ask me, I was in an induced coma at the time, fighting for my own life.
    • My comment is trying to not take any political side but rather be objective on what I see, hear and read. If the Government made a positive difference to people's lives, people would be pro this Govt, but sadly the majority don't see an improvement since they have been in Office, but rather the opposite so people's opinions of the Government are poor.  I think if you did a straw poll of users on here, the result for those in favour of the Government is likely to be unfavourable, but I may be totally wrong, quite possible. No one I speak or am in contact with has a single good word to say about the current Administration. In fact the calls for a General Election just become stronger and stronger.
