I meant to delete that post but my finger slipped ! Sounded a bit churlish. It just made us laugh (at her expense of course).

ps second child going there this Sept and looking forward to it very much. Local friends , fantastic .

My daughter's in her first year there and I have nothing but praise for the school. Tillie Trotter - are you sure you son's not pulling the wool? - my daughter seems to get tons of homework!

I also really like the ethos of the school, epitomised for me by their fundraiser with Jenny Eclair last week where a large part of the money raised will go to their link school in Ghana. Seeing what last years' fundraiser - followed up by a visit from some of the Charter staff and a group of sixth formers - had contributed on the ground (solar panels inter alia) at this school in rural Ghana was really quite inspiring.

I actually asked the teachers at the last parents evening the same question dc, and they assured me that he was up to date (more or less) with his homework! He says he does it at the end of the lesson!! He is either a genius (I hope) or he slips under the radar. He definately doesnt do much at home thats for sure!! Also I phoned the school on the morning of his birthday to say that we were running abit late which saved him from detention, good tip for the future! :)
