If you get a chance listen to the two callers to Stephen Nolan's show Saturday night.

Starts at 1:46 in. English fans in Danish section for Denmark game. Awful, awful behaviour - second caller alleges that English "fan" threatened her 9 year old daughter. Makes me so ashamed.

'The national footballing police lead has criticised the ?the violent and frightening behaviour of a sizeable minority? after forces across the country dealt with a record number of football-related incidents following last night?s Euro 2020 final.'

Well it's not a few louts then, far many. Better discussion on the zero tolerance thread, but think it is worth adding that as a nation we encourage excess drinking. I should know, I was p.ssed for much of my late teens and twenties. Not big or clever, but despite numerous embarrassing incidents, I never got into any situations like we saw on Sunday.

0/10

But i will pick up on one thing....Football is not a boisterous sport at all. It's actually a rather dull, sedate sport....89 minutes of passing to each other for 1min of actually shots on goal/action....its no wonder you have to be rip-roaring drunk to get through it.

I am a Rugby fan, but on the chat, you're not even close mate...we discuss HELI-Skiing...very different from a normal ski trip....much more exclusive...not a pleb in sight.

Also...it's spelt 'you're'

Actually one of my favourite English rugby players/political commentators seems to have gone missing on twitter - hope he's back soon as I like his posts :)

Yes - suspect a short ban on posting for something he said about a tory activist (I maybe wrong) :)

Hope to hear more commentating from him too.

    • It was around New Year 2023; I had walked my dog past the exact spot late that evening before it happened. There were a lot of cars in Straker's Road that night playing loud music. "Roadmen" Alice. We all know who they are but you are daring, through the use of public shaming and ostracism, people to declare something you already know. Tut tut Alice, white boys also affect a Roadman persona. There was a statistic I read on a council advert at a bus stop in Lambeth, it said "99% of young people in Lambeth have never been in trouble with the police". We all know 99% of the 1% are Roadmen so lets not pretend any further.
    • “Peckham rye is a very safe place to be” was someone not murdered for a phone a few years back, also daily muggings happening at the park if you look outside of you bubble
    • Is that your comment; people shouldn't overfill their bins? Nobody does. All those bins had lids closed. The problem is when they open them and the bin tips into the lorry and half a dozen pieces of litter fall to the floor. Are you actually denying photographic evidence?
    • Moved into new house and hallway isn't big enough for double buggy. Also steps up make it awkward and too heavy with both girls in. Looking to store in a buggy shed similar to nursery if anyone is looking to part with one?
