Looking for a driving instructor

Hi East Dulwich community,

My wife is looking to learn how to drive, but she's quite stressed out about the whole thing. Would any of you be able to recommend a driving instructor in the area who's kind and patient, and will be able to help her build her confidence at the wheel?

Many thanks,

Lucas

Hi Lucas,

I can highly recommend Silvano Bozza 07702615834, he had many recommendations on this forum. Few years ago I was in a similar situation, a woman over 40, never driven before, Silvano patiently taught me how to drive, passed from first time on manual. Good luck.

Hi Lucas,

I can recommend Nick Pauli, of Nicholas Driving Academy. I've been having lessons with him, unfortunately interrupted by the various lockdowns, for several months. I had lessons many years ago but never got near to being able to pass a test. I started again last year with Nick and very quickly we moved on from using his car with the dual controls to using our car - this means my confidence has really grown. He is very calm, knows how to keep the lessons relaxed but focused, and knows how to work with older (I'm well over 40), maybe anxious drivers. I'm hoping to take my test at the end of the year. I found him through this forum.

Nick's number is 07956 221 706

    • https://www.trinco.restaurant/?utm_content=trinco-dulwich Trinco is on the Lordship Lane section between Goose Green roundabout and East Dulwich Grove turn off so the bottom of LL.
    • Shortly to commence is the St Anthony's school street which will cover Friern Road from Goodrich to Lordship Lane plus Etherow Street.
    • Have been to Blue Brick several times over the years and I have never found them open in the evening. Looked at Suzanne in the past and she is quite expensive, but if planning a wedding or similar - she is reasonable compared with other caterers. Where is Trinco?     I doubt that the children would like Vietnamese food  although they do like curry and things like chilli con carne, We only have a family meal once or twice a year - this year it is to celebrate a 40th , 53rd,  and 27th birthday- we are both pensioners so we need to keep an eye on prices.  I have in the past cooked for 12 people but it is a tight squash getting everybody in especially as the grandchildren have got older.
