hi - does anyone know if there is anywhere locally I can get my Dyson repaired? Thanks.

There is a repair shop at the top end of half moon lane opposite the Sainsburys local. They have previously fixed my vacuum cleaner.

Dyson have a service whereby someone comes to your home and in most cases will fix anything for ?75. I found the number on their website. Last year mine had gone up in smoke and was no longer working. I thought I'd have to buy a new one, but a guy came within a couple of days and replaced the motor, changed the filter and was super tidy and polite. Works like a dream again.

My sister was also highly impressed with Dyson's own servicing.

She said her Dyson was left like new again.

I used the Dyson repair service a couple of years ago and it was brilliant. They replaced over ?200 worth of parts during the service and my cleaner was like new again. It was amazing value for money.
