New Denmark Hill station entrance - views?

After many years of campaigning by the Camberwell Society, GLA Assembly Members Caroline Pidgeon and Florence Eshalomi. The Dept of Transport, Network Rail, Thameslink, TfL earlier this month opened a second station entrance on Windsor Walk.

How are people finding the new entrance?

Do you think it has relieved the Champion Park entrance people congestion?

Do TFL own the station? I didn?t realise they were holding up the improvements

James, I had a look at it and think it's excellently designed. It augers well for Peckham Rye station, but really important that like Denmark Hill it's properly linked to connecting bus services. See my EDF post.

No, the station is managed by Thameslink. But it has TfL Overground services. Hope this answers your Q.

So much better and some good design features.

Looking forward to using the new ticket machine. The ones in the old entrance are far to close to the barriers.

Ironically TFL run 4 trains off peak per hour (in each direction), SE 3 and Thameslink 2. Wonder why it became Thameslnk not TFL.
