Bathroom installation - recommendations please

Hi,

We're ready to go with having our smallish bathroom renovated (approx 3.3 square foot). We've chosen the suite etc so need someone to install it, swap over sink and towel rail, install thermo shower, tile floor and walls, change electrics, plus a bit of plastering/making good.

Can anyone recommend a good plumber/builder to get this all done. We've had a few quotes bu they range massively in price so I wanted to get a few more.

Many thanks, Jo

Hi jo, I've been using Paul the plumber 07974 755732 that I found off here. He has done bathrooms for me in the past to a few property's that I rent out, and my family have used them for their houses. He is highly recommended on here and is always on time and reasonably priced compared to others on here I used a few due to being a landlady I have always got upset tenants calling and he shots round to save my bacon, hope he can help you.

Hi, I can definitely recommend Sylwester Bachurski for your bathroom installation. Already quite a few recommendations on the forum for these guys which is how I found them. Sylvester and Lucas did a fantastic job on our bathroom - a great finish from installation to tiling and plastering. They were flexible, reliable and friendly throughout and the quote came in at a good price. Sylwester's number is 07852336392
I'd definitely recommend Stephen at SPV (wwww.spvinstallations.co.uk t: 020 8658 2616 / m: 07941 266145), Stephen did an excellent, high quality and really affordable job of our bathroom, including using the existing bath but completely re positioning it and the radiator and installing extractor etc. The quality of his tiling is superb And was a lovely guy to deal with too.

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
