Wondering if any parents in Honor Oak or Forest Hill can recommend

Any activities/groups running for me and my daughter? Specifically Fridays?

We've just moved for the third time since my daughter (now 15 months) was born. Hopefully we will be staying for a while in our new place! Have moved further away from my NCT group (Kennington) and groups we had got to know in ED/Nunhead so would love to find out what there is available in our new area and hopefully get to know some other parents with children the same age?

Also up for play dates if anyone fancies!

Thanks

Might be worth looking up Ackroyd Children's Centre which I hear lots of good things about, also on Thurs & Saturdays there's a thing called Happy Mess which looks fab & have heard v good things about:

    • There's a ?new Radio 4 short documentary programme, The Cat Killer Detectives, that might be of interest to some. It talks to the couple who ran SNARL, and provides something of their account of how the project began, developed and ended, and the effect it had on their lives then and subsequently.   https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002j5nr

    • Hi all, it’s been a while since I last posted so I thought I’d provide a quick update on what we now can offer. Alongside the usual bespoke joinery (wardrobes, bookcases, alcove units etc), I’m now also working with a wider range of veneered boards (ash, maple, walnut, etc.) as well as fluted/reeded panels for anyone after a more textured, high-end finish. I’ve also been adding more lighting options to my fitted furniture – warm white LED strips with sensors or remote controls, ideal for wardrobes and bookcases. They make a huge difference once fitted and really elevate a space. If you’re planning a project and would like to explore these options, please feel free to get in touch.
