Cool, fun, cute and a jaunty little tune too. A little over the top on the glo'al stops vo.

"I canno' be bovvad wiv vis" well actually I can.

Tried this which is great Kate Nash - birds (live)

Don't know why it reminded me of this lady as they're not very similar, except it's a girl on stage singing.

Martha Tilston - Milkmaid

Top shout FNB - glo'al stops or no, her live set earlier this year has stayed with me longer than most and I see the album has been brought forward due to demand

Wether she will have the legs to sustain a career I'm not sure, but fingers crossed

> Wether (sic) she will have the legs to sustain a career I'm not sure

Ha ha, I thought you were making a commentary about today's over emphasis on looks over talent blah blah before I got what you were saying.

For the record I think she's much better looking than you girls aloud types anyway, were it to matter, or summink

The speeling mistake was noted as I pressed Post and THANK you for picking me up on it MP but the legs comment and it's possible double meaning occured as I typed. I deliberately left that one in to see if it would be picked up on

Seconds later..........

I'm told that is my chuckle although, like most people who hear themselves on a recoding, insist I sound nothing like that

As for Yo La Tengo - excellent choice - I believe they are appearing at the extremely civilized End of the Road festival in Spetember, along with Lambchop, I'm from Barcelona and others

Klaus, my hero!! If you can unearth his version of Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head I'll be eternally grateful.

In the meantime the quirky but joyful

    • My mum (91 years young!) well remembers going to Austin's as a child, which she described as an 'Aladdin's Cave'!  She absolutely loved it - and is still a shopping fiend to this day (I 'blame' Austin's 😉). Going back up Peckham Rye, passing Austin's on your right hand-side, just past Phillips Walk (so not far from Austin's at all), I believe there was a British Relay Wireless shop - this would have been in the late 1930s/early 1940s.  Does anyone know anything about this? My grandad (my mum's dad) used to manage it; it was severely damaged in The Blitz - but I am having trouble locating it.  Mum's memory is dim (she was 6 at the time); she originally thought it was in Rye Lane, but we think now it was in Peckham Rye just up from Phillips Walk (originally Phillips Road).
    • Thanks everyone, this will need to be reported again as the fox was still mobile and walking down the road when last seen... hopefully someone will spot and report.
