Lambeth Parking have sent me a PCN for a "moving traffic violation" - failing to drive in direction of blue arrow.

I'm going to check this out as I'm not sure they are right. They've sent a pic of me tuning right at some lights, but I know the road, and I'm pretty confident right turns are allowed.

Meanwhile, anyone know if this means points on licence? The letter doesn't mention this.

Fine is ?130, halved if I pay now.

Check it out if your not happy. I went to kings for an appt a few weeks ago and parked in a spot I've always parked in with my Blue Badge. When I came out I had a ticket. I contested it and they cancelled it. Normally I don't follow things thru but as I knew I'd always parked there I had to look into it. There were no prohibited signs so I was determined. Good luck

Where was this WorkingMummy?

I recently received a ticket myself for parking in a loading bay. I was genuinely unloading and was less than 5 minutes (even though the time limit was 20 minutes) and was given a ticket by a 'ticket enforcement officer' who didn't want to know my explanation. I appealed the decision by making a representation on-line at the tfl website and won the appeal. So it is well worth appealing!

It was Westminster Bridge Road.

I've had a lot of success challenging parking fines. They dish them out incorrectly all the time.

But this was a fair cop. I checked on google earth. There was indeed an arrow on a small sign on a traffic bollard immediately in front of me as I turned right, telling me to keep left... So I've paid up.

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
