steveo
Looking up at that half remembered elusive globe in the sky, a strange feeling came over me. Was it... happiness?Do you think when the weather eventually breaks that feeling will wash over all of us? Will there be a spontaneous outpouring of joy all down the lane? Will stranger pat child on head and smile into pram? Could there be unabashed love in the doorways? Might there be erected a May pole on the roundabout, a Pleasuredome on the Green?Or will we again have to don longjohn and stare down at the pavements? StraferJack
joking aside - it's meant to be plenty of this over the weekendA quieter London (everyone else appears to be leaving for the weekend), some bright skies, some warm scarves, local parks = happy days Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/30616-here-comes-the-sun/#findComment-629430 Share on other sites

StraferJack
is that countrywide or London/South tho?I have the next week in London as weather like this (but warmer by up to 3 degrees). Which is still blinkin' cold, but better than it has been Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/30616-here-comes-the-sun/#findComment-629442 Share on other sites

Kailyn
I saw something on facebook, one of those silly pictures that said 'The first person to moan about being too hot gets a punch in the mouth', that made me laugh. But seriously, I don't even want a heatwave, just a tiny bit of sun, even if it's still quite cold. Is that too much to ask??? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/30616-here-comes-the-sun/#findComment-629603 Share on other sites
uncleglen
I'm pleased it's cold so that my son can test out the effectiveness of his new cavity wall insulation! civilservant
don't mind the cold as much as that evil wind, so glad it's died downI thought that the North wind wooshing down Crystal palace Road all winter was bad enough, but a freezing east wind - that's even more brutal Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/30616-here-comes-the-sun/#findComment-629766 Share on other sites
