Looking up at that half remembered elusive globe in the sky, a strange feeling came over me. Was it... happiness?

Do you think when the weather eventually breaks that feeling will wash over all of us?

Will there be a spontaneous outpouring of joy all down the lane?

Will stranger pat child on head and smile into pram? Could there be unabashed love in the doorways?

Might there be erected a May pole on the roundabout, a Pleasuredome on the Green?

Or will we again have to don longjohn and stare down at the pavements?

I saw something on facebook, one of those silly pictures that said 'The first person to moan about being too hot gets a punch in the mouth', that made me laugh.

But seriously, I don't even want a heatwave, just a tiny bit of sun, even if it's still quite cold. Is that too much to ask???

    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
    • Nice that the drinks have started up again. I used to arrange them when they first started and I met some good friends through them. We used to get 30+ people going at one point. The karaoke night at The Wishing Well was very memorable!
