Hairdresser recommendation please

Any recommendations for a decent local hairdresser ? One who can actually cut a straight line and offer a professional haircut! Had far too many hair disasters which have paid through the nose for the pleasure of. Someone has suggested Lauren at Myla and Davis ?( but have had a disastrous cut in their ED branch before 😳).

Just looking for a fairly easy classic cut. Thanks in advance for your honest recommendations.

Shingo at Kuki in Bellenden Road.

I had terrible experiences for decades, including at massively expensive places, and Shingo is brilliant. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

He has lots of recommendations on here if you do a search.

Lynne, if you mean Aimee Blu in the salon at the rear of Maison Dog, I went to her for a cut in January and was very pleased with the result (I posted a more detailed review of my experience on here at the time).

Not very local, but tested through time, I've been using the services of Stephanie at Curly Hair London - https://curlyhairlondon.co.uk/ At the moment works from Mayfair, but opening a salon in Southbank.

Another recommendation for Aimee Blu on Northcross Road. I had a great haircut here recently, Aimee is lovely and the salon is great. Very happy, will definitely return.

Just seen my dear friend who had her hair hacked at, its very uneven , opp the old grove harvester top of lordship lane. Reminded me not to try there. Apparently many hairdressers insist on the point cutting technique which hides their mistakes and lack of skill. Anyone else know of anywhere to be trusted ??

I do think toni and guy are generally good, I've been to several branches and always had a good cut. Prices are comparable to Dulwich. I've been to Bromley, Croydon, Victoria, Kensington, Islington and Kensington.
