Do you think these activists should be carrying out their activities in broad daylight and make a fanfare waists doing it to make their point widely known, or covertly in the dead of night?

Hear hear Rockets

While manufacturers are producing cars, people will keep buying them. It is not illegal to own or drive a car...

Maybe they should focus their efforts elsewhere, like keeping the no 12 bus and suggesting new connection routes between outside areas. Increasing the train schedule, reducing public transport costs, because in most cases it's still more cost effective to drive even with the increase in fuel unless you are walking or on a bike, but not everyone is so fortunate to engage in those modes to get to work.

Maybe they will start attacking the solar system next, because the sun eventually swallows the earth.

DKHB you've obviously never seen an American car chase movie where anything that gets flipped over can and will expolode possibly leading to massive loss of limbs and life except for the hero standing directly in its path.

However as the police have already warned the idiots letting car tyres down then it is criminal damage and vigilantism at its finest.

As described earlier, the let down gang don't know who owns or what circumstances a car is for and could jeapodise someone who needs it urgently (for example an emergency Dr called to theater to help after a car chase resulted in a car flipping ....)

    • Like most children they go through food fads!  -the boy was into wraps and satay chicken before Christmas, but abandoned the wraps  over Christmas. Likes Chilli con carne providing there is minimal sauce.. The girl will eat a mild curry, but not cheese, milk or yoghurt. Both will eat pizza, shepherds' pie. roast dinners, sometimes burgers, rarely chips. Their mother batch cooks meals to put in freezer as the nearest supermarket (Asda) is 2- 3 miles down the road and not on a bus route - so they rarely have takeaways/ready meals or eat out.  They both eat fruit and veg daily and there is never a problem getting to eat these. Agree that The Plough can be hit and miss - a friend asked them to cater for a post funeral buffet and the food was terrible and was in short supply with some of the guests going hungry.  She made a complaint and asked for a refund - and after a wrangle got it.
