Taxi from Gatwick to South London

Does anybody have any suggestions for taxi services that can be booked from Gatwick to South London please?

Datacars good. Used FHC in the past and Ok too. Expect cheaper option than getting one on the rank.

Also consider taxi to / from East Croydon to Dulwich - 20, 25 mins. Then train to / from East Croydon (every 5-10 mins, non-stop, journey time 15 mins, between £3.50 off-peak £5.70 peak, cheaper group fares). Way cheaper than a taxi the while way.

Honor Oak Park or Forest Hill to E Croydon then to Gatwick can take as little as 42 minutes, including five minutes to swap platforms. You can use contactless. Especially good if you’re travelling light.

Given lifts to people to East Croydon to get to Gatwick at unsociable times. Also used bus and Uber myself at times to do similar. Only used taxi all the way for very early flights.

Having said that flew from Gatwick on Wednesday, still some turmoil after the extreme heat and for a while stopping route via Redhill cancelled due to cows on the line. Coming back next Wednesday and there is a national train strike😐

I could write a book about London airports - ironic as I am cutting down on flying due to climate change. Stansted won't use the train and get Nat Express from Stratford. Heathrow don't use Heathrow Express, have been known to cycle which is very cyclist unfriendly. Luton have to admit to driving there. Cycled back from Southend once which was horrid.
