This is a brilliant website that I use all of the time. I'm posting it here because I've just been reading a thread where someone complained that they were on hold for ages on a premium line phone number.

Basically, if a company gives you an 0870 number to ring, just run the company through this website and it will give a you a geographical (cheaper) number to call. I've heard that a lot of the numbers provided are the numbers that companies don't want you to have - provided to the site by whistleblowers from those companies.

It's by no means perfect but it definitely hits more than it misses.
