This little black cat is definitely abandoned, hungry and out in all weathers. It used to be part of a duo , but its sibling died a few weeks ago. Although wary, it is starting to accept being stroked . I think it’s probably very young, practically still a kitten.

If you think you might be able to offer a home or would like to hear more please text Jackie 07811 815692

There is a little black cat that has started showing up out the front of my place every couple of days (Lordship Lane near Goodrich Road). I will try and get pics but eyes look different to this one? I have been feeding it when shows up. Skittish but also starting to trust me more.

I second that. Celia Hammond will be able to help to trap it, give it a good medical and treat any medical issues before finding a good home. Best way forward.

Earlier this year I contacted them about an abandoned, injured cat. After building trust and trapping him, Celia Hammond found that he had an operable cancer. They operated to remove the tumour and, although the cancer will likely return in the future, adopted him to a loving home that will look after him.

    • We were hoping to have a meal at Monkatsu  last night (Sunday), after having been out all day. Online information gave the closing time as 10pm. We got there around 8.30pm and they wouldn't give us a table because "the kitchen closes in half an hour." Surely it doesn't take half an hour to make a meal? We've never had to wait that long when we've eaten there before. Has anybody else had this happen? We ended up going home and getting a delivery, which wasn't how we had envisaged the end of a nice day 🙄
    • That place did only have pizzas on the menu, to the best of my recollection. We ate there once, the pizzas were ok but the room was not exactly atmospheric. Il Mirto has  a lot of pasta dishes on the menu,  but that also never seems busy. It's small and out of the way,  and easily forgotten if you're looking for somewhere to eat, I suppose.
