Ever go to bed without brushing? I used to be guilty of straight tae the scratcher after a night oot, Irn Bru still stuck tae ma teeth. Didn't go to dentist for years, but took le plunge recently and all fine. Surprised me, thought I was in for bad news. Teeth when they are good are they inherited or is it total luck?

Think I got lucky.

ETA: Reason I was thinking this I've just had a toffee crisp in bed and cant be fecked brushin my teeth.

I'm now much more disciplined regarding brossing my dents. I didnt go to the dentist for 15 or so years and was surpised to only have one filling required when i did go quite recently.

charliebubs, a toffee crisp in bed is a joy. Its good for a young man to cut loose every now again!

I had to take medication which I was told would absorb into the body best in an acidic environment, so I had to take it with cola which is the most acidic thing one can drink. Dentist told me that cola unsettles the coating of the teeth so leave it an hour till brushing the teeth after drinking cola.

Just thought I'd share....

    • Such a shame as Dells is fantastic - a decent local business providing a great service to residents.
    • Ha ha that's hilarious - how wonderfully embarrassing for Reform!
    • Closing down completely. The lovely people there are all retiring. Thanks, but Deptford is a long way to go to make two journeys to  take and collect a car! Do they not do even relatively minor repairs if it fails its MOT first time? Then that would require four journeys 😭 Wondering if there's already a thread on here for garage recommendations? People on my road WhatsApp group have recommended some local ones. I'm particularly gutted because apart from the lovely people who worked there,  Dell was a five minute walk for me!
    • I did think that might be the reason, but five years out of seven it's going to be a weekday (I think. Not sure how leap years might affect things!)
