sensitive to chlorine?

Hi me again, having a neurotic weekend clearly...

my daughter always has bad tummy ache the day of and day after swimming.

anyone else experienced this - i don't want to stop taking her but it's not nice for her

My daughter is but gets skin reactions not tummy upset hence we are members of dulwich college which is sun filtered and minimum chemicals

Sounds like she might be drinking a bit too much in. Most would get a tummy ache after swallowing too much chlorinated water. Other than reminding your daughter not to swallow it, no other suggestions I'm afraid.

Yes I suppose the more we go the less spluttering! Trying to get her signed up for lessons next term. She just did go to the toilet and pretty

Much emptied her entire stomach so felt better after that! She does drink a lot I think so maybe its just the volume. If I feed her lots and lots it definitely seems to help and even though she says she can't eat she does manage to eat once she sees it!

Pure speculation - could it just be a simple muscle strain? She might be working muscles she doesn't normally use. (Though if you're getting loose stools, then maybe not!)
