Bespoke windows - quick reviews please

Recommended Posts

We have had superb service from Bespoke Windows. The 2 men who did the initial visit to discuss options and price, the expert surveyor who did all the measurements, and the window fitters, were all professional, courteous, and all did an outstanding job. The price for replacing all our windows and the front door and rear French door (ie a huge job) was far less than we were fearing!

I can recommend Bespoke Windows unreservedly - a great company. They only work on homes within a 2 mile radius of their Lordship Lane office - but they have plenty of work in that area, and deserve to be busy.

I used Bespoke windows to replace a front door. I initially thought the price to be a bit steep so I had a look at a recently fitted door, (they organised the viewing). Seeing the door the price made complete sense. The quality and strength of the door was above my user experience hence perception of composite doors. The fitting was C19 delayed but now fitted, it looks fantastic. No issues with communication, fitting etc. All went smoothly and the door surround made good. I would use them again without hesitation.

    • I'm interested to know why you say that? They both sell the same kind of thing, they both have own brand products, and unless I've got it completely wrong, they both seem to be trying to attract the same kind of customer? I would have thought a Waitrose and an M&S so close to each other would have split the customer base (?not sure of the correct term) for both of them? People might shop in both, but I'd have thought each store would still lose out on sales?
    • I thought of going to the States for the World Cup.  But I just can't - Trump, the nonsense of entering the States and what UEFA has done to the sport including enlarging the competition and selling out to Gulf/Middle East States has put me off. I found an article on the likely move of some European football overseas which prompted me to start the thread https://thefsa.org.uk/news/uefa-gives-go-ahead-for-overseas-competitive-fixtures/
    • Unfortunately we can see from the history of the Israel -Palestine situation that a peace accord now won't necessarily lead to long-term peace and statehood for the Palestinians. This has been going on for decades, ever since the Palestine authority gave refugee status to Jews fleeing the Nazis in the 1930s and 1940s. Britain has a shameful role in handing the problem on to the League of Nations and since then the world has watched on and done nothing or very little.
