they think your house will suffer subsidence. You need to speak to a proper broker not an online bucket shop. a broker will make calls and have industry knowledge. we used premier search - tesco, halifax, etc all refused cover. you need a proper expert not a call centre employee who can only go by your postcode.

ps I am mrs jm, and sadly household insurance falls into my portfolio of tasks for the mac family.

v.high risk of subsidence around East Dulwich and Norwood. e.g. the clay subsoil under dawsons heights is flowing downhill, which is why half of dunstans rd is missing. You need to ring around a bit. Buildings insurance premiums in East Dulwich and Norwood are among the highest in the UK. I had no problems with direct line.

    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
    • I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
