Witness for hit and run accident on Lordship Lane

Hi,

my car was badly damaged (?3100) by a hit-and-run-driver on Lordship Lane in front of William Rose / Laundrette on Wednesday, 10th April within 10min. My car (navy blue VW passat) was parked in the parking bays. Likely a lorry from Bobby's food has ripped side of car open. If anyone has witnessed the accident please get in contact with me as only with a witness we can avoid a claim and having to pay the excess and the increased insurance premium.

a) This was nearly a month ago, why the late post?

b) Who is "Bobby's food" and why are they being apparently blamed for "ripping the side of the car open"?

a) Probably time it took to deal with insurance company

b) Author said it was 'likely'. Maybe there is a lot of lorry traffic there and given the extent of the damage it's likely to have been a lorry.
