I also highly recommend Look-as Service. Lukasz did several jobs for me in one visit, some very small, some bigger.  He arrived exactly on time, instantly understood the problems, worked very hard and steadily, cleaned up afterwards and left me with a fully functiing home for a very reasonable price.  I will certainly use him again.

I would like to add another recommendation for Lukasz of Look_as Service. He is a great handyman,  answered my query immediately, arrived on time and was very polite, pleasant and tidy, The work was done to a very high standard and  reasonably priced. I will definitely call Lukasz again.  His number is 07593095724

We asked Lukasz to do a couple of jobs today and then added a few more as we’ve just moved house. Can’t recommend him enough. He was prompt and worked hard to get through our list and his costs are very reasonable. He cleaned everything up afterwards and we’ll certainly be using him again.

Look_as Service / Lukasz has been a lifesaver!

I recently moved to ED and had some issues with my Sofa being too large to fit inside the property.

I got in touch with Lukasz after reading reviews on here, and he was able to come over with 1 days notice on a Sunday!

He was able to take apart my entire sofa, move it inside and put it all back together without any hassle, faff, or complaints.

I asked Lukasz to come back the following Saturday and he was able to put up 14x picture frames, and dismantle and fix my terrible DIY work on my chest of drawers.

Saving the day once again!

Lukasz - you're a hero.

I'll be texting you again if I ever need!

Hi.  Another recommendation for Lukasz.  I had a long list of little repairs that had been piling up and Lukasz tackled them all brilliantly.  He arrived exactly when he said he would and even brought his own vacuum cleaner to tidy up after all the work. Amazing!!   Cannot recommend him highly enough, a super talented friendly guy.

A big thumbs up from us too for Lukasz! He did a fantastic job of fitting wood panels in a bedroom, splashback tiling, fitting a coat rail and other assorted jobs. Lukasz is very hard working and takes pride in his workmanship. He responds promptly to messages, is very polite and punctual. We will be looking to employ Lukasz again in a few months to do some extra work.

I would like to add a big recommendation here for Lukasz. He painted one room, refitted a cupboard door and added a lovely floor trim to another room, and the results were better than I expected. His work is immaculate, great attention to detail and left the rooms as tidy as he found them. If I need additional work done in the future, I will definitely be calling again on his services.

Excellent prices and quality/commitment of work done was tremendous.

What we really appreciated that he was cleaning up after himself throughout.

I suspect there is not much he cannot do and provided breakdown of costs upfront, so it was clear what cost what.

Highly recommend.

    • Whilst I agree, I have been thinking about this recently in relation to some of the other posts on here about anti social behaviour. We are all products of our upbringing - our experiences at home, school and beyond - plus whatever we have inherited genetically which might affect our behaviour (the nature/nurture thing). So in this case, if people haven't been brought up to love and appreciate trees and other wild things, plus as you say they may be deeply unhappy (or have other undiagnosed issues) it's easy to see how they could have ended up doing this. Also, it's possible they had quite low intelligence and didn't really grasp what they were doing and the effect it would have on so many other people. But that's just surmise and possibly completely wrong. From what I've read about it, they seemed to be two mates egging each other on, like two big kids. I'm not for a minute excusing what they did, and it's right they should be punished, but I really hope they might get some sort of rehabilitation in prison (it would  be appropriate to have them do some kind of community service like planting saplings, wouldn't it, or working in woodland conservation). And the same goes for phone robbers and shoplifters (rehabilitation, not planting saplings), though for SOME  shoplifters there might also be other issues at play, not excluding poverty. Sorry Jasonlondon,  I've gone off at a real tangent here, lucky it's in the lounge! Oh oops I've just noticed it isn't. Sorry admin. Oh, and then there's a whole philosophical discussion to be had about free will and determinism ..... 🤣🤣🤣
    • Thanks! I'll find out in a few weeks when I get the results! It was one of those disconcerting things where a disembodied voice keeps booming  at you to breathe in and hold it, then breathe normally. Apart from that it was OK, all completely painless. I imagine there will be quite a few people going from ED, though I presume it covers the whole Southwark area
    • Two men behind ‘senseless’ felling of Sycamore Gap tree jailed for more than four years Good to see these two jailed today for four years. There’s something deeply disturbing about people who destroy trees—any tree. Whether it’s a centuries-old landmark or a sapling in a quiet park, trees are living beings that offer beauty, shade, and life. The men who cut down the Sycamore Gap tree are a stark example of how far some people will go to lash out at something peaceful and meaningful. People who harm nature like this aren’t just destructive—they are often deeply unhappy. It takes a troubled mind to look at a tree and see something to ruin instead of something to protect.
