Virgin Broadband Outage

Virgin broadband in SE22 was down from 12-3 today. Planned, but we did not receive notification. It is now supposed to be back on but we still don't have anything. Anyone else having the same issue? We've got an engineer booked but not until Wednesday!

Old Bob, I would recommend as soon as your contract runs out. Move over to BT since moving from Virgin to BT. I've had no issues at all for 2 years and it's cheaper. ;)

We’ve had an outage for most of yesterday, and still not back this morning. No notice from Virgin.

I am moving to the area in a few weeks and I've just signed up to Virgin...

Was hard to go with anyone else as they have the fastest speeds in the SE22 postcode!

Sadly the fastest BT does in my address in SE22 is 1mb download which is crazy slow!

I'm in se22 just off north x market , getting around 40megs download.

Virgin Media broadband is an absolute disaster in my part of SE22. It may have the best speeds when it works, but the signal goes down constantly, many times a day. I've just had to terminate my contract after they admitted to me on the phone that the signal had been disconnected for a total of 11 hours in the past week alone. It's been completely unreliable since some works were done last July. They have the most miserable customer service too....

I would avoid them at all costs

Had BT for last 2 years and its been awful - really awful. Switched to virgin and its been very fast and not had any issues.

Virgin is oversubscribed in ED, so it's no surprise they can't handle the amount of customers they have. I'd rather go for another ISP that uses the Openreach network that is slower, but doesn't go down every 5 mins.
