Fidgetsmum
Well. It's been a hell of a year so far. And now, finally we were getting away for a week to France tomorrow, and we've just discovered that our daughters passport has expired. 3 days ago. I have no words. Has anyone had any luck before getting a child's renewal on premium one day service? We can't get through to the passport appointment number until tomorrow morning so we're assuming we can't get a same day appointment... does it take weeks? In which case I think I shall cry until 2014. :-(Any words of encouragement or hints or tips on how to sort this s**tstorm out very gratefully received. And please, don't point out our stupidity. We're completely gutted after the year we've had so far. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/32330-emergency-passport-for-child/ Share on other sites
taper
You can get a same day appointment if lucky. Be prepared to beg and explain the urgency of the situation. Once you've got an appointment it's quick but costly to get a passport processed on the same day. Fuschia
Child passports can be renewed same day. I think you might need to go to another city to get an appt though Good luck Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/32330-emergency-passport-for-child/#findComment-645827 Share on other sites
kittysailing
Hi had the same thing last summer - couldn't get a same day in London but rang Liverpool and jumped on the train and got it that afternoon.
