Plumber recomendation

Recommended Posts

I would like to highly recommend Niko (07818 607583) to anyone who needs a plumber. He came out for an emergency on Friday night, when my bathroom flooded, absolutely out of hours, fixed the leak and for a very reasonable price. He definitely knew his stuff and I would use him again. Funny too:)

Another recommendation to add to what is already a very impressive list on this Forum!

Niko came round to investigate a troublesome drip from an overflow pipe above my bathroom.

After an hour or so, scrabbling about in my unlit loft (in what must have been ghastly conditions given the current heat wave), Niko emerged triumphantly to say he had identified the problem and fixed it.

He also was happy to offer some useful advice to prevent a recurrence and promised to return should anything go wrong again in the next few weeks.

Very prompt response and competitively priced.

I would certainly call on him again should the need arise.

Thanks, Niko.

...and another recommendation for Niko. Popped round to diagnose our problem and source what was needed, then promptly back again (having been scrabbling around in someone else's rather warm loft...) to finish off an incredibly reasonably priced job. A genuine pleasure to have in the house, and we won't hesitate to call on him again in the future
I can wholeheartedly recommend Niko. I found his details on this forum and I can safely say he has exceeded my expectations on the work he has carried out for me. Niko was able to carry out the work at short notice and gave me some excellent future proofing advice so that the plumbing issues do not happen again. His pricing is reasonable and i have and it seems that he is always willing to go the extra mile to help out.

Hi all,

Another top recommendation for Nicko... Just needed our outside tap looked at so it would work, did a quick search on ED forum for plumbers, saw these posts, called Nicko, he was round within 20 minutes and we now have our outside tap working - all within an hour- and very reasonable price too!

    • Is it just me, or are some of the cars around East Dulwich now roughly the size of a modest one-bed flat? Our lovely Victorian streets were designed for horses, carts and the occasional penny-farthing — not rolling apartment blocks on wheels. Earlier today someone tried to pass me while driving squarely down the middle of the road, seemingly too terrified to move over in case their wing mirror brushed a leaf. We ended up in a sort of slow-motion standoff that felt less “road sharing” and more “Wild West showdown”. I completely understand wanting a safe, comfy car — but when the vehicle is wider than the street and both drivers need a deep breathing exercise just to squeeze past each other, it might be time to ask whether the car fits the postcode. Maybe we need Victorian-era width limits reinstated… or complimentary tape measures issued with every CPZ permit? 😉
    • Sad to hear about Mike Dulwich Fox he was a local lad born and brought up in the area.  R.I.P Bob S
    • Excellent news! I googled and came up with a thread from this forum about Jamie being forced out. I had posted the link, but when I read the thread I didn't think it was appropriate to post because  It was started by Dulwich Fox, who sadly died last year (R.I.P.), and contained comments by and to him which were not relevant to the actual closure.
