Easiest route to Museum of London via public transport?

It looks complicated from E Dul Peck to aim for Barbican tube - anyone know a simple route for tube / bus / overland?

Probably easiest to take the train from denmark hill/peckham rye to either city thameslink or farringdon and then walk (I don't think it would be more than a 10 minute walk)

Take No. 40 then walk. You can look at Roman amphitheatre ( under Guildhall) and city walls en route.

City thameslink (from Peckham rye or Denmark hill) as stated above is very close and very quick.

If you are going on a weekday, train to London Bridge, then 521 bus which goes past St Pauls. From there it is a really short walk. The 521 is a single decker bus with lots of standing room inside, so as long as you are outside rush hour it is easy for buggies.

As above or train to London bridge (step free) then 141 or 21 to moorgate and walk 5 mins to your left. Quickest is Farringdon and walk. Plus there is a child friendly pizza express and cote nearby
