OutOfFocus
It may be interesting to note that two Goose Green councillors have cabinet roles : James McAsh - Cabinet Member for the Climate Emergency, Clean Air and Streets Portia Mwangangye -- Deputy Cabinet Member for Young People The first might be relevant to Lime bikes and similar! Bic Basher
The Cabinet changes are due to the resignation of Newington Ward Cllr Alice Macdonald who is moving to Norwich to fight for a Commons seat in Norwich for Labour. A by-election will be held in Newington Ward in due course. 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/326952-councillor-roles/#findComment-1624660 Share on other sites
first mate
Does this mean James McAsh will take over the rollout of CPZ? Cllr Rose is on the record this month saying she is personally determined to make the whole Borough CPZ. Will he follow this hard line? It does rather make a nonsense of consultation. Cllr Rose rather gave the impression that the purpose of consultation, in her mind anyway, is to sell the council agenda, not so much to listen. Others may correct me but I do not recall any mention in the Southwark Labour 2022 manifesto of a pledge to make the whole borough CPZ, this seems to have crept in after? OutOfFocus
What is the probability that any conversation will eventually lead to either CPZ or LTN Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/326952-councillor-roles/#findComment-1624761 Share on other sites
Abe_froeman
Pretty high when a thread starts off talking about the cabinet member for streets? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/326952-councillor-roles/#findComment-1624778 Share on other sites
