The fire brigade came and put it out.

No, I don't know who started it.

Surely it just needed a bucket of water? Assuming there was nothing burning which would have been made worse by water?

Great use of resource - couldn't someone find some water - there are lots of businesses around there. Fire extinguishers?

Don't people actually have any common sense at all?

And seriously - "War Torn"? Get over yourself. There are real problems in the world

OF COURSE they were joking! I'm amazed anyone could read it otherwise.

Bad joke if you ask me with all that's happening in WAR TORN Ukraine 🇺🇦 still if that's what you think is a joke well again what can I say

Whether I think it's funny or not isn't the point. It just seemed obvious that a photo of a tiny fire with a post heading about Dulwich being 'war torn' wasn't meant seriously!

But that is the point...and people are dying in WAR TORN Ukraine. So WHY SAY THAT ? ,is it that funny as you say it was a joke.....NICE JOKE

    • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
