Participate in audio device/smartphone market research ethnography - fee for participation

Recommended Posts

A research company and their client, a major Korean new technology brand, are seeking participants for a market research ethnography session taking place in London next Thursday, 13th June 2013.

The session will last 2 1/2 hours and there is an excellent fee for participation (above standard market research rates).

Essential criteria:

- Must spend most working hours out and about (driving to and from placements, appointments, meetings)

- Must listen to music in own car by several methods, and not just on the car audio

(E.G.) By connecting smart phones or iPods (or other audio devices) to a car audio OR listening to music with wireless speakers, not a car audio, etc

- Must be in 30s

- Must do all or some of these things:

? Listening to music while driving (own car not public transport)

? Listening to music on the street

? Utilising iPod or wireless speakers while tasking

? Listening to music while shopping

? Listing up the songs before leaving

The format of the session will involve

- Observing the process of making playlists on the audio device before the journey begins

- Sitting in your car as you drive to and from places, observing and asking questions (without being too intrusive)

TIME WASTERS NEED NOT APPLY.

We will speak to all candidates and will ensure they match above criteria.

    • Maybe if you indicated what you were reviewing, pub, gastro pub, high-end gourmet, local Italian etc. - whatever classifications you wanted, then you need only indicate that your stars referred to overall quality in that category. So it it's pub grub then 5 stars means it's great pub grub, but not the same experience as 5 stars in a high end gourmet category. Your star system could then include implicitly value for money as well.
    • Does OP know they can sell everything but alcohol even without a license?😄
    • Thanks, it's a real dilemma whether to do star ratings. A few people have asked me to do them but I've tried to resist as they are too reductive - people will look at them and won't read review! and they are difficult too - my last review of Victoria Inn, i'd give it five stars for value for money - how can you knock two courses for £18? – but 2 stars for quality - edible but nothing special. Which I guess is why some sites give star ratings for different things...
    • ok - Jeremy himself is against mandatory vaccines. Is he as extreme as his brother? No? Is it fair to discuss how the overall view of that family would inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic? I would argue very much so
