There isn't a solution other than blocking the noise out somehow. Hard in this weather if you have windows open.

Realistically impossible to get rid of them without other collateral damage and hunting them through the night doesn't seem too probable or possible in a City like London!

Try an ultrasonic pet scarer.

When the fox enters the detection area, the FOXWatch emits blasts of high-pitched noises. The noises continue to sound until the fox leaves the protected area.

You can get ones that don't rely on detection but just blast out ultr sonic sound.

    • It's worth paying for someone who is properly qualified in my opinion. We did when we bought, but unfortunately the people selling to us had used some sort of mass conveyancing centre in Wales to save a few quid and they were rubbish. When I looked into selling our place I asked the estate agent who came to value it whether we could stipulate that a future buyer should use a proper conveyancer. They reckoned yes, so something you might consider asking for from your buyer if not too late. I guess it depends on demand, if there's a queue of buyers you're in a different place to make demands versus someone's been trying to sell their place for a year. I've used Wendy Burgess several times, it seems she's recently moved to a different practice: https://www.hcnlaw.co.uk/attorney/wendy-burgess/
    • Following on from Sue's post, this document looks useful as a single information source about the continuation of the Poundland brand:   https://www.pepcogroup.eu/media-news/pepco-group-completes-sale-of-poundland/.  From it I get that Pepco, the pre-sale parent company of Poundland, will have a minority share in the business (the CH record for the acquiring company seems to me consistent with that) and that "Under this new ownership, the business will be led by Barry Williams, currently Managing Director of Poundland. The business will continue to operate under the Poundland brand in the United Kingdom (and under the Dealz brand in the Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland)."
    • That was my question about Ed Davey and has he lost the plot? Are you a Lib Dem supporter? What do you think about his speech?
