Locale closing.

As the title says, I hear Locale is closing this weekend. Not doing enough business.

A friend went in to ask about booking the restaurant for a function and was told it's shutting this weekend.

Ditto what was said about Aneto - a truly welcome addition to the area. I've sampled the coffee, juices, cakes and sandwiches and can honestly say it's by far my favourite coffee place in ED.

Aneto and Locale seem to be connected in some way?

They are, at least, physically connected at the back!

Went to Aneto for the first time last weekend, and had a nice lunch.

I was in aneto today and they confirmed that they're not affected by locale closing - hooray

That's a shame - MrTwirly and I actually tried to go there on Sunday night. Rather liked it too.

Personally I have had some awful meals there and would be glad to see a new restaurant take its place. Cruel but honest.

My parents tried to go to Aneto today but they said it looks as if it has closed down?! I hope this is not true as I thought it was a fantastic place. I know locale next door has closed but I thought someone else had said they had asked in Aneto and were told they would not be affected by the closure of Locale - can anyone confirm this? My Dad said it looked like building works were taking place. I'm really hoping he got it wrong and looked at Locale by mistake!
