Mrs B was a very soggy 57.5 .... but a few more 10ks to come this year maybe on drier days. I decided to do a long walk of London and made her trek back with me to ED after her run .... lovely day for it!

I might be in the same flu boat ..... I got to Islington about 9.30 this morning and my supposed new waterproof jacket .. simply wasnt what it said.. luckily Blacks on Upper St opened at 10 for new clobber! Life saver!

How did you get on MW?

very slow I'm affraid.....55.39....not what I expected. Never mind, hopefully when I do more in the year it'll help my speedwork. We can't be too hard on ourselves. The conditions were bloody awful. And if you'd made me trek back to ED,I'd have cried!!! It was my wedding anniversary yesterday as well so we treked up to the Plough for some well earned red wine and nosh! Welldone to Mrs B.

    • Wow!  Is this the remnants of a wood pigeon?  We occasionally see the feathers following a kill but only once have I seen the hawk in the garden and certainly not like your experience.
