Nurseries in SE22

Hello everyone. My husband and I are quite new to East Dulwich and are expecting our first child. We are looking for nurseries in the area for when we go back to work. Please could you send the names of any you are aware of? We will check them out!

You can get a list from the Southwark council website. My older two went to Gumboots in Crystal Palace Road. They are now 9 and 11 and it has since been refurbed and was and is v well thought of.

Another vote for Gumboots - put your name down now, the waiting list is a couple of years.

We use Mother Goose on Waveney Avenue and love it.

As the first responder said, contact Southwark and do some searches on here. There are lots locally and it depends what you want. Full days/ term time only/ walking distance etc should be considered and then search on here. We've sed a childminder, excel and the villa. Very mixed experiences... Childminder and the villa we loved and would recommend but depends where you live and you really do need to see them to judge what's important. I had no idea what I wanted and it was only by the second visit to a nursery I really got an idea. Also, the most popular have waiting lists around 2 years! Worth starting the calls now as several close their waiting lists as well. Good luck
