The Gardens Cafe

I imagine they must have had a cost base which they couldnt sustain. The place always seemed busy and the prices very high so I can't imagine they had a shortfall of income. People in the area were obviously willing to pay such prices (although I wasnt, I didnt think the food warranted what was being charged).

I presume they spent a lot redecorating the place and presumably had to borrow to fund that. Now that the place is in relatively good shape, its possible someone else could take it over with much smaller borrowings and perhaps make it work?

Its a great location opposite the park.

    • Yes they are. They are instructed by higher management not to refuse anything, unless it's on the list of known items unable to be accepted
    • After one or two bags, which can be returned after use if required. Will be used to contain some topsoil in a gardening job so cannot guarantee they will be as clean after use….
    • I’ve asked them where they get their bread from, or if they bake it, and they won’t answer. Which is disappointing
    • I’ve been ordering from Butter & Crust now for 5+ years and it’s a brilliant service. The bread is fantastic as are the selection of pastries, milk & butter. The apple juice is also incredible and you can change your subscription to what suits you - I opt for every other week ☺️  I have a voucher if anyone wants to try, you get £10 off your next order with: HANNAHM_2
