MOOC

Has anyone tried any of these - Massive Open Online Courses? As I understand it, it's rather like an online Open University - in which one can simply "lurk" or, if wished, complete course work, take exams and obtain certificates.

I have done a few on Cousera, mainly IT courses and they have all been very good. I have a day job and kids so the time commitment can be a bit of an issue but the standard of the courses is very good - Stanford, MIT, EPFL, etc
