October half term holiday recommendation

Hi, the EDF community was very helpful with my previous request for a summer holiday recommendation. Thank you (Lagos, Portugal).

Wondering if you all have any recs for an October Half Term break - we have one week and would love some sunshine with relatively short travel times - is this possible?

family of four with 2 teenagers, 13&15.

We went to the Alicante region in Spain last half term for a week - lots of small places to stay, nice beaches and alicante itself was lovely for a few days.
